Lucinda Soltero-Gonzales, Ph.D. * Education Liason/Trainer

Lucinda Soltero-Gonzales earned a Ph.D in Language, Reading and Culture from the University of Arizona in Tucson.  Dr. Soltero-Gonzalez is an outstanding practitioner and was a bilingual special education teacher in Arizona. She has provided numerous in-service and staff development courses and workshops for teachers and administrators. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Education in the Division of Educational Equity and Cultural Diversity at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Her primary EAC tasks will be: 1) provide in-services training in the area of multicultural and special education, particularly related to English Language Learners, 2) serve as liaison to School of Education Faculty and Programs, and 3) provide technical assistance in Region VIII as needed.
