Karla del Rosal Bujanda * Graduate Assistant

Karla del Rosal is a first year Ph.D. student in the Education Equity and Cultural Diversity Program. She is assisting Dr. Escamilla in various EAC projects. Karla was born in Mexico and moved to the U.S. nine years ago. She completed her B.A. in Mexico at the Instituto Tecnologico de Monterrey and her alternative teacher certification at the University of North Texas. Her research interests are effective mathematics and science instruction for English language learners and how appropriate formative assessment can guide it.
