The mission of the Equity Assistance Center is to promote equal educational opportunity in Region VIII public schools in the areas of race, gender, and national origin. Thank you to all who participated in the Pathways to Respecting American Indian Civil Rights conference at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO on August 10 and 11.
Our third annual Language, Culture and Equity Academy, held in conjunction with the Colorado Department of Education's Office of Language, Culture and Equity was held on April 20, 2011. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the outstanding success of the conference.
